The Reactor Gym is situated within the newly revitalized 500-acre Parmer RTP Campus. Formerly a hydrogen reactor laboratory, the building has been repurposed to accommodate research facilities and the expansive 15,000-square-foot Reactor Gym, serving the entire campus community.
Occupying three floors, the industrial-inspired space features locker and shower amenities, a rock climbing wall, dedicated yoga and spinning studios, and a lounge area for relaxation and breaks. A unique architectural element, a large opening in the floor slab resulting from previous reactor equipment, has been creatively transformed into a slide, providing a convenient and enjoyable means of transportation between the third and second floors.
