The Steve Troxler Agricultural Sciences Center is a first-of-its-kind facility in the nation that consolidates all of the department’s testing and diagnostic programs to the state’s largest industry. The new 220,000-square-foot building provides laboratory and office space for the Veterinary, Food and Drug Protection, Structural Pest Control and Pesticides, Motor Fuels, and Standards Divisions.

Integrated Design's role as Laboratory Architecture Consultant provided state of the art facilities. The Motor Fuels suite includes test engines and storage of motor fuel samples from around the state. The metrology lab suite tests large and small masses as well as large and small volumes. The Veterinary suites include veterinary diagnostics that includes a BSL-2 and BSL-3 necropsy rooms for avian and large farm animals. Their laboratories include Microbiology, Extraction and Inoculation, PCR, Serology and Virology, Bactriology, Histology, Chronic Wasting, Toxicology, and a BSL-3 Suite for select HH Architecture was the Architect of Record.
